Animal print never goes out of fashion. In fact, it is one print that should be kept in your closet. Every season we hear the same thing, “Animal print is on trend!”
The question isn’t about “should you” or “shouldn’t you” own an animal print, it’s knowing how to incorporate it into your wardrobe.
The biggest issue when it comes to animal print is – how do you wear it and pull it off?
Tone that leopard print down
If your outfit is too wild, tone it down. If you wear an animal print top, you can tone it down by wearing a single-colored-bottom in color that blends well with your wild print. Lacey chose a classic leopard shiny knit top and toned down by a matte brown calf length skirt with gold buttons complementing the gold shimmer in the top.
Remember wear a shade that complements your animal print.

Don’t match animal print if it’s large
Matching colors and prints is very common in styling. However, choose only one large animals print and complement it with other non-animal pieces. For instance, Kay’s dress is a zebra print, and she paired with non-animal patterned black tights and plain black heels.
A touch of the same print on your footwear only works when the black, beige or white shade is dominant in the print.

Animal print and color clash
A new way to wear animal print is to team it with bright colors. Now, not everybody has the heart to apply this idea but it´s something worth a try. The key here is to go for only one single vibrant color.
Our favorite is zebra print with emerald green and leopard print matched with ruby red.
Only match animal print with accessories
If you must go matchy-matchy with your animal print do so with your accessories, provided they do match.
If you wear leopard printed shoes, match it with a purse in leopard print purse or scarf. But also remember that there such a thing as over-kill. Don’t go overboard with matching your print.
